The Home Anthology 2017 Collection coordinated entirely by Rodolfo Dordoni and contains some products designed by Christophe Delcourt.
The design project for a new collection goes well beyond the brilliant execution of a stylistic exercise; if anything, it is the transformation of an intuitive idea into a tangible product, one that brings vitality and form to different lifestyles and ways of inhabiting the home today.
Enchanting interiors that evoke an atmosphere of timeless elegance, yet are filled with the unexpected. A sophisticated aesthetic language that finds its voice in the choice of exclusive materials and surprising combinations such as wood, stone, glass, fabrics, and leather with amazing textures and colors that kindle feelings of warmth.
LAWRENCE
A seating system with a classic-modern spirit, built upon a clustering of generous yet sleek shapes that describe distinctly horizontal lines. Lawrence embraces its bold, self-assured personality and adds to it an array of pieces that make it extremely versatile and allow for the creation of multi-functional compositions that bring understated elegance to settings that reflect different tastes. The Lawrence “Clan” elements feature modern, graphic stitching designs that lend a more dynamic rhythm to compositions and invite the creation of living room decor with a fresher, more contemporary vibe.
JACQUES
The Jacques collection includes sofas, armchairs, and ottomans available in several sizes, originated from a common design seed that transforms a vaguely retro style into a symbol of absolutely contemporary style. A sophisticated aesthetic language that is expressed in soft shapes, compact proportions and details with striking visual impact, like the metal base with Light Bronze finish. Elegant stitching emphasizes the curved silhouette of the Jacques armchairs and sofas, whose rounded shapes create a surprising contrast with the more formal, geometric outlines of the Lawrence sofa. All of the seating elements share the enveloping lines that offer a pleasant sensation of welcoming warmth, thanks to the soft cushioning in the seats and backrests.
POLLOCK
With a contemporary eye, the Pollock seating system revisits the aesthetic values that distinguished the eponymous seating system, a company best-seller at the end of the ‘90s. The original high foot in metal with its distinctive design and the proportions of its shapes, outlined in elegant piping, lend decorative appeal that is perfectly poised between classicism and modernity. Thanks to die-casting technology, the design of the foot softens into more sinuous lines while the Pewter color finish accentuates its refined elegance.
COLETTE
Guaranteed to turn heads, this armchair takes its inspiration from the iconic period of mid-century elegance and skillfully blends experimentation in the design of shapes with sophisticated decorative taste. The construction of the Colette armchair is fairly complex. The profile of the external structure in metal is calendered, assembled and welded at more than 300 points. The special metallic finish is achieved through galvanization in a white-gold bath, followed by application of a transparent protective coating that lends durability and depth.
HALLEY
An armchair with a boldly original design, Halley offers undeniable visual impact as well as great comfort. The enveloping shape of the backrest back, the fluid lines of the support base and the choice of unique upholstery materials – leather or fabric – heighten the sculptural image of the Halley armchair and make it a chair that is as tastefully elegant as it is comfortable.
FIL NOIR
The Fil Noir chairs take their name from thread – an unmistakable sign of continuity. The thread, or tube, that actually makes up the body and substance of the chair – not only outlines its silhouette, but also supports and envelops it. A thread that expresses a core decision in the choice of material. Metal tubing painted matt black. A choice of absolute austerity that is softened by the rings with polished Gold finish that set off the corners of the chair, adding a note of decorative contrast to the stark formality of the structure.
AMÉLIE
The enveloping lines of the Amélie little armchair ensure the perfect blend of elegant proportions and ergonomic comfort. The padded structure is made of a cold-formed foam shell covered in soft padding and rests on a base available in two finishes: solid ash with open-pore Chestnut stain or solid beech with glossy lacquer finish in Sand, Granite or Mud.
LOU
Powerfully expressive, this family of tables and coffee tables draws inspiration from the fluid, organic shapes of tree trunks, true sculptures produced by nature. A masterful technique of high-end cabinetry made the creation of extremely complex curves and veneers possible. The contoured internal structure is in MDF, sheathed in larch veneered plywood which is then milled along the curved edges.
NOOR
The sculptural shape of the Noor coffee table is grounded in the choice of a material with the plasticity of ceramics. It is made using an ancient, hand-crafted technique that lends each piece a unique personality. Two truncated cones merge into a single, unique shape to form a coffee table whose iconic personality is further underscored by the selection of two metal finishes: Bronze and Platinum.
SONG
Made entirely of solid brushed oak with a painted Black finish, the base of the Song coffee tables reveals its ancestry, firmly-established in the cabinet-making tradition, while the finishes for the table tops communicate an irrepressible desire to experiment with unconventional materials and sophisticated colors, each of which can be traced back to different stylistic interpretations.
KAY
The unconventional design and intriguing combination of materials of the Kay coffee table convey a very bold personality. The understated support is in metal with Black-Nickel finish, while the substantial table-top surface is made of brushed larch with stained Licorice or Dove Grey color finish.
ELLIS
Created as table-top surfaces for conversation zones, their restrained elegance and great number of shapes available allow the Ellis coffee tables to fit comfortably in many different settings.
The tops in extra-clear glass or Smoked Grey glass with rounded edge draw attention to the design of the metal base with embossed Black painted finish.
The 30-cm diameter coffee table, on the other hand, is available only in an all-metal version with polished Light Gold finish, for statement-making decorative appeal and a contemporary vibe.
CAULFIELD
Two new finishes – polished Light Gold and Black-Nickel – lend contemporary glamor to the family of Caulfield coffee tables. The minimalist design of the structure is achieved through the subtraction of material and is then interpreted in two very different metal finishes – polished Light Gold that, with its elegant sheen, introduces a sophisticated decorative note to any setting; or Black-Nickel, for a more formal, understated look.
LAWRENCE BED
Lawrence bed padded headboard is divided into two separate elements that come in two different heights and widths, opening the door to creative freedom in designing symmetrical and asymmetrical configurations and making bold choices in upholstery combinations. The Lawrence Bed headboard upholstery is completely removable and features elegant stitching in a modern, graphic pattern of squares.
OUTDOOR COLLECTION
The new Minotti outdoor collection is informed by an attitude of sociability: outdoor furnishings with a tasteful, contemporary vibe, perfect for creating comfortable settings where everyone can kick back and relax. The Florida series, with its curved shapes, the Halley “Outdoor” family, the Colette “Outdoor” armchair with its enveloping lines, the many complementary pieces all do their part to help create versatile outdoor rooms in which to enjoy friends and family year-round. An outdoor collection that brilliantly blends fresh shapes, materials and colors, just right for informal settings that convey a sense of energy and encourage sociability. It is the palpable expression of a global vision that places the proximity between indoors and outdoors at the core of the design project itself.
