Get set, ready, lights on! Discover the latest trend of lighting fixtures presented by VIBIA at Euroluce 2017.

Euroluce continues to showcase the latest trend in lighting solutions for homes, offices, hospitality and the outdoors. During Salone del Mobile 2017, VIBIA presented their newest addition of lighting collection at this 28th International Lighting Exhibition.

Let’s find out what they have in store for 2017!

GUISE by Stefan Diez is a collection of lights that transforms its materiality into the medium of the light itself. In order to explore the relationship between light and transparency, different materials were tested for their ability to reflect LED light, with glass proving the most suitable. Light conducted by glass is invisible, only emanating at the edges.

For GUISE, a slim row of LEDs is recessed into a flat disk. The light is conducted to the edges of the glass circle, where it radiates with an intense glow, utilizing the wall as reflector. Following the wall lamp, designs using the light-conducting attributes of glass were also developed for three-dimensional structures, with the light source always remaining invisible.

When nature takes control of the space, the interior ambiance takes on a life of its own with the possibility of integrating plants within the lighting compositions.

Designed by Antoni Arola, PALMA consists of subtle light fittings that give off a warm lighting effect and takes over interior spaces with a wrap-around illumination. The spheres of light seem to float mid-air and growing up and along the enclosing walls.

The PALMA collection includes two sizes of hand blown glass sphere joined together by a strap and aluminium structures. The collection can be installed as an individual fitting or combining several spheres to create diverse suspended compositions, for the wall or the floor. Available in graphite or white finish. The intensity of the LED light source is dimmable.

The concave curves of MUSA by Note Design Studio, a collection of wall sconce, table and floor lamps that combine hand blown opal glass and feminine reflective surfaces.

MUSA generates an ingenious interaction between the gentle illumination emitted by the shade made of hand blown opal glass and the indirect surround lighting reflected off adjacent surfaces. Ying and yang, surface and depth within the same light fitting that provides a warm and general ambient light. The collection play with the juxtaposition between expressions of heavy and light, delicate and substantial.
