As summer unfurls its warm embrace over Copenhagen, we found ourselves immersed in the heart of Danish design at Vipp Home during the 3 Days of Design event. Among the myriad of innovative marvels, several pieces captured our attention.

The ‘Rubbish’ waste bin, composed of 30% sawdust and 70% plastic waste, stood out as an embodiment of sustainable design. This eco-conscious marvel demonstrates how waste materials can be transformed into something useful and stylish.

Illuminating the tribute to the past was ‘Marie’s Yellow’, a limited-edition homage to Vipp’s founder. Radiating her favourite hue, the piece serves as a vibrant reminder of the brand’s rich legacy.

Further enhancing the summer vibe was the yellow onyx tabletop, perfectly paired with the Vipp Swivel chair, wrapped in modern textiles. This blend of tradition and innovation was a testimony to Vipp’s design philosophy.

Finally, Paola Paronetto’s colorful artworks, a delightful blend of Italian artistry and Scandinavian simplicity, added a dynamic touch to the serene Nordic setting.

The summer showcase at Vipp Home was a vibrant celebration of sustainability, tradition, and global influences, reflecting the transformative power of design in our daily lives.
