Inspired by the vibrant Satsuma orange, Yuni Jie’s design seamlessly combines Kengo Kuma’s Japanese architectural precision with the zest of an Italian summer. The space is divided into two distinct zones: a functional cooking area and a charming entertainment space, both featuring clean lines and organic curves.
Playful summer patterns, soft herringbone flooring, natural woven blinds, and Eastern-inspired lanterns infuse warmth and intimacy, while furniture selections celebrate Japanese craftsmanship with both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Traditional Indonesian rattan weaving adorns the ceiling, adding local character, and teak wood shelving showcases Yuni Jie’s latest orange book alongside contemporary home accessories. This vibrant homage to summer reflects her signature style, “The Art of Casual Elegance,” skillfully balancing Eastern and Western influences, old and new.
Key highlights include the sleek V1 Kitchen by Vipp, the simplicity of the Afteroom Plywood chair by Audo Copenhagen, the soft-glowing Knit hanging lamp by Vibia, and the gentle curves of the Hiroshima chair by Maruni.
