DESIGNER’s STORY
Lucie Koldova is an acclaimed Czech and international product and furniture designer. Her collaboration with Brokis began in 2010 with the iconic Muffins and Balloons lighting collections, which she designed while living and working in Paris. Holding the post of Brokis art director since 2014, she is the creative force behind the brand and is instrumental in shaping its product portfolio and image. In 2018, she was the first Czech designer invited to design the Das Haus installation for imm cologne, in which she showcased her Puro Sparkle, Ivy, Big One, and Jack O’Lantern lighting collections.
The voluminous glass lights embody her charismatic and uniquely elegant style and quickly established Brokis as an innovative producer of handblown glass lighting. In addition to developing increasingly novel and exciting concepts, Lucie Koldova has introduced important technological and formal solutions that have enabled Brokis to push the limits of handblown glass production.
For Brokis, Lucie designed MUFFINS (with Dan Yeffet), BALLOONS (with Dan Yeffet), SHADOWS (with Dan Yeffet), IVY, MONA, FLUTES, WHISTLE, LIGHTLINE, BIG ONE, PURO, JACK O’LANTERN and MACARON collection.

atelier oï was founded in 1991 in La Neuveville, Switzerland, by Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis and Patrick Reymond. The name oï, derived from the Russian word “troïka”, a team of three, conveys the dynamism and holistic energy generated by a trio.
