DESIGNER’s STORY
Note is a Stockholm-based design studio founded in 2008 by Johannes Carlström, Cristiano Pigazzini, Susanna Wåhlin, Kristoffer Fagerström and Daniel Hecksher working within the fields of architecture, interior, product, graphic as well as design strategy. Our pieces for Le Chance, Menu, Sancal, Fogia, Design Within Reach among other brands have become renowned worldwide.
Our philosophy is: Creativity is about searching for what is missing, to constantly realign thoughts and expressions to find that moment of insight when everything clicks. At Note we collaborate intensely, with personal passion and our design disciplines – interior, product, graphic, architecture, and strategies – to share our insights with the world.

Vico Magistretti was born in 1920, in Milan. In the post-war period he was actively involved in the reconstruction, both on the theoretical side through the MSA (Movement for Architectural Studies) of which he was one of the founders, and on the practical side with projects for INA-Casa and QT8.

Meaning “clay” in Japanese the name Nendo implies the flexibility and malleability of that material their designs for the world of graphics, interior architecture and furniture.
