Omar Khan

A graduate of New York’s Parsons School of Design, Omar Khan draws upon his expertise in furniture design, interior design, and illustration to develop rugs distinguished by their captivating compositions and exquisite craftsmanship. Each one is a foundational flourish, combining previous materials with artisanal techniques to create a beautifully textured design for living.

Born in Singapore and based in Kuala Lumpur, Khan’s multi-cultural background – a blend of Dutch, Chinese, Egyptian, Pakistani, and German heritage – is a rich source of aesthetic inspiration for his designs. He often references ancient symbols and historical motifs, recontextualizing them through modern abstraction and contemporary color palettes
