The 2018 collection launching also invited Toni Al, a contemporary artist from Bali —whose signature painting is broad brush strokes, with simple colors on a white canvas— to perform live painting of Minotti cushions and VIBIA lampshades.
2018 also marks a special milestone for Minotti. Having reached the 70th anniversary, it is a milestone that attests their strong commitment to interior design presented in a multifaceted collection with design philosophies rooted in various cultural backgrounds. A collection of elegance of forms, sobriety in design and of continuity in the tradition inherent to Minotti DNA, yet still open to the solicitations coming from different culture. To celebrate the 70 years of creativity and unique identity, MOIE invited Signore Antonio Marelli, as the representative of Minotti in Asia to officiate the 70th Anniversary celebration in Minotti Jakarta.
MOIE also took a moment in light of the recent tragedy in Sulawesi by encouraging guests to partake in an auction. To help with the recovery and rehabilitation support in Palu, the auction of 2 artworks by Toni AL will be donated to doctorSHARE. doctorSHARE is a non-profit organization focusing on medical healthcare services and humanitarian aid. doctorSHARE will be mobilizing Nusa Waluya II Hospital Barge to Palu to provide the urgently needed medical rehabilitation support to victims of the disaster.
