Every collection of Promemoria has its story, and Amaranthine Tales is born from amaranth wood.
Amaranth is a precious wood found in tropical regions of America. When it is fresh, it has a grey-brown colour, as it seasons, it assumes a violet hue.
While the Amaranthine itself is an adjective coined by a great poet, Milton. It derives from ancient Greek “amaranthos”, the eternal flower that never fades.
The highlight of Amaranthine Tales are Alchemico Lui and Alchemico Lei. Cabinets in which you can conceal accessories, jewelry, and secrets. Love is an alchemy, a union of souls which does not exclude the division of personal space. Him and her, because love is a flower which (almost) never fades.
The Light in Promemoria

In Milano 2017 collection, Piero Castiglioni has developed a lamp of essential design, HIGGS, with the structure in polished black chrome, and a LED light source inside a sphere made of Murano glass. HIGGS taking inspiration from the Higgs Boson mimicking the trajectory inside the particle accelerator.
