SCENT ECLECTIC 

There are a series of intangibles that can be just as important in interior-design as colour, luminosity and shape. Often, the most potent first impression and subsequent memory of a space can be its smell. This scent collection evokes historical memories of British life, of travelling and trading across the globe and returning to the gritty smells of modern international London.

In the dark subterranean, hidden below the surface, rhizomes secretly grow and slowly develop the fresh, sharp intense fragrance of ginger. This is combined with woody Haitian cardamom to make the unique scent of Underground. Encased in a copper hand-spun vessel with a solid Banswara marble lid.

 

 

Influenced by the endless search to transform basic materials into a valuable substance, sharp black pepper, woody cypress, eucalyptus, exotic patchouli and smoky guaiac wood combine to create the precious perfume of Alchemy. Encased in a hand-spun matte black patina brass vessel, with a solid Udaipur black marble lid.

 

 

SWIRL

Swirl is a series of geometric forms stacked upon one another to create multidimensional, functional sculptures. A family of candle holders, bookends, vases and tables, each with their own distinct silhouette, colouration and personality.

The unique process involves recycling the powdered residue from the marble industry, mixed with pigment and resin to create blocks of material that can then be sawn, sliced and turned on a lathe. Substantial in weight, smooth in texture and bold in pattern, Swirl will inject a fresh pop sensibility into any setting.

 

 

CORK

A tactile material which has been used for millennia in nautical, construction, apparel and food applications, Cork is the ultimate traditional material fit for the future. By repurposing this wonder material for our range of extremely fat edged and chubby silhouette furniture, we have taken full advantage of the elasticity, the sound absorption and water proof nature of cork, which combined with its natural beauty makes a unique set of seriously sculptural furniture with expressive minimalist attributes and superior functionality.

 

 

MILL

Salt and pepper play a heroic role in the kitchen. Mill is a set of grinders with expressed handles and sleek conical silhouettes made of stainless steel. CAGE

Cage is a candle-powered table top turbine, engineered to diffuse, accelerate and quickly propel fragrances to all parts of your interior. Manufactured from finely etched stainless steel, this ingenious and original kinetic product is both magical and functional. Using a single tea light that both warms the scented oil and spins the inbuilt fan, we have created an innovative slow-tech response to the plastic electronic diffusers that increasingly saturate the market.

 

 

PUCK

Using the basic forms of geometry, such as cylinders, cones and spheres, Puck is a collection that’s resilient enough to survive in a professional cocktail environment. Anchored with a satisfyingly thick base that’s reminiscent of game pucks.

 

CARVED

Mouth-blown, double layered black and white glass has been acutely cut back to define a series of circular motifs. Artisanal glass makers in India carefully carved away layers of glass in a design process that explores the opaque, the translucent and the transparent. The intention was for the chunky and heavy glass to take on an ethereal lightness.

 

 

OPAL

Opal is a family of translucent globes using our own custom recipe of tinted white Opalescent polycarbonate. Semi translucent, they maintain an ethereal ghostliness in the daylight and at night form a perfectly illuminated sphere. Coupled with our new Tom Dixon LED, the Opal range emits a soft, diffused and flattering light. The softness of the lightbulb shape is achieved through a blow-moulded custom combination of opalescent plastic. This process works to achieve an organic form as well a delicate translucency.
